A layered PSD file is an Adobe Photoshop file in which the artwork is structured on separate layers. PSD stands for Photoshop Document and is the default format that Photoshop uses for saving data.
It’s easy to alter an element of a layout as they are separate layers, this is not as easy with a flat JPEG file. Please note that you will need a copy of Adobe Photoshop to edit the file.
